Landscapes (SVL) was started in the early 1980's just after I finished my
term of service in the US Army's 7th Infantry Division's elite COHORT unit
at Ft. Ord, California.
The first few years in business were
very busy ones, having acquired certifications in Ornamental Horticulture,
ISA Certified Arborist, CLCA Certified Landscape Technician twice (2
certifications: Irrigation + Landscaping), as well as being one of the very
first landscape companies to become certified in Pest Control (QAC, Dept
of F&A) once it was mandated.
SVL offered a wide variety of services
that ranged from consultation to design and installation. As we expanded
into different markets, we made sure we had the know-how to make sure it
was done right to keep our customers satisfied.
We offered specialized services like
xeriscaping, wetlands restoration, erosion control and many others. We even
had our own landscape column that ran in four different California newspapers
over the span of four years. |
